ARCHIBUILD design, build and deliver exciting design and process-driven projects for clients who share our passion for spaces and places that benefit people.
ARCHIBUILD was started by Dean Fitton in 2020 after becoming frustrated with the disjointed nature of the industry.
Dean felt that Architects, Builders and other Construction disciplines such as Structural Engineers had all pulled in different directions and there was no longer a unified synergy. As a result clients were often left stuck in the middle of the process trying to make peace between all the varying people.
Dean wanted to create a company with a single point of contact, that brought the best design from his architectural background but with the practicalities of buildable construction – the origins of the Architect, the Master Builder.
The word ‘architect’ comes from the Greek word architéktōn, which means ‘chief builder’ or ‘master builder’.
We were founded in 2020 following client demand, prior to founding the company, its Founder and several of the operatives still within the current company setup, were working on developing high end residential properties for the private sale market. Prospective clients oversaw these projects being developed and approached the team to undertake their projects – the demand eventually became the founding factor in the creation of ARCHIBUILD.
Early projects featured a substantial renovation of a large bungalow in Liss which transformed a tired home into a modern contemporary family home with a contract value in excess for 180k. Subsequent projects included bespoke extensions and home remodels for clients who wanted something unique and knew ARCHIBUILD would be perfect partner to design and build their vision. These projects had varying contract values ranging from £50k to £125k.
The projects include the Window House, Void House and Slate House which can be viewed in our portfolio pages.
Most recent projects have increased in complexity and contract value which has seen ARCHIBUILD deliver some of its most flagship projects to date including WRAP HOUSE and PAVILLION. Both projects can be found in our portfolio pages.
These projects had contract values both in excess of £250k and although both were challenging deliveries due to their differing complexities, they are both extremely successful projects and will long stand as leading projects for years to come.
Current projects as of December 2025 include BRICK HOUSE which is due for completion in January 2026 which coincides with the start of WEST HOUSE. Both projects have similar contract values of circa £100-150k and will no doubt become great additions to our portfolio as complete DESIGN + BUILD projects.
We’re always looking ahead and seeking out new and exciting projects that challenge convention and celebrate great design. Our focus is on working with clients who share a passion for creativity, craftsmanship, and attention to detail. If you’re planning something special, get in touch as we’d love to make your project part of our future works.

Shaun is one of ARCHIBUILD’s most experienced operatives. Shaun originally learnt his trade in brick laying and prior to starting with ARCHIBUILD round his experience across most trades due to building multiple extensions across Gosport and Fareham. Since joining the team, Shaun has widened his skillset and is often a project lead due to his talent and calm considered nature to ensuring a high level of workmanship is delivered at all times.
Jason is one of ARCHIBUILD’s longest serving operatives. He originally joined the construction industry as a groundworker and is still the most accomplished machine driver within the team. Jason’s skillset has grown vastly over the years due to his interest to learn new skills at every opportunity with repeated success due to having a keen eye to meet company standards. As a result Jason is one of the most rounded company operatives and he can be found installing complicated structural steelwork one week then in total contrast installing high end luxury bathrooms the following week including all plumbing and tiling works. Jason often takes the lead on projects due to natural leadership qualities and enjoys getting ‘work done’.
Jason spends his spare time either indulging in unique food outlets and spending quality time with his beloved daughter Matilda.
Aaron joined the team in 2024 and has quickly become one of the most reliable operatives in the team. Aaron initially joined the team for his long term experience in groundworks, but has quickly shown that his methodical approach and ability to pick up tasks quickly has ensured he is often found undertaking a wide variety of tasks across the industry.
Aaron is a big sportsman and spends his time playing football or darts when not in the crowd following his local football club.
Matt is ARCHIBUILD’s longest serving operative. Matt started working in the construction industry as a Groundworker but has since found his skillset widened to cover nearly every aspect of construction. Matt enjoys all aspects of his job but has taken a keen interest in leadwork and first fix carpentry in recent years – however Matt is still the most impressive operative when it comes to hand digging.
Matt is also seen by many clients as the happy singer of the team who always has a bounce in his step – he makes colleagues and clients time on site more enjoyable even in the coldest of months or hardest of days.
